Welcome

Welcome to our new website. As you can see, a lot's changed — and a lot hasn't. You'll still find Hangar Talk, Photo Galleries, hundreds of documents, member listings and lots more. And after ten years of the hot and dry "Arizona Desert Sand" look, we've moved to a cool, crisp "Cape Cod Blue" format. Here are the major changes along with future enhancements:

• Links to highlight content to give first-time visitors a quick-start.
• Photos with an emphasis on people as well as airplanes.

• Each member is now assigned a personal password. This makes many new features possible.
  
  You'll need to obtain your personal password to access the Members section. Follow the directions on the Log-In Page. Your current email address must be in our database to obtain your password. If it is not or you are otherwise having difficulty logging in, complete this form so we can help.
  
  
• You now have a (Members-Only) Personal Profile Page. So tell us about yourself, your family and your airplane by adding photos, links and biographies. Don't be shy! As we accumulate this material we'll add dedicated pages highlighting and aggregating members' photos, links and other information.

• You may now subscribe to daily email updates of all Hangar Talk postings.
• A valid email address is now required to post comments; you may elect not to display the email address however.
• Comments may be Rich Text Formatted using bold, italics, colors and more.
• Forms now (optionally) remember your name, email and other information streamlining entry.

• Photo Gallery: Many photos have been re-sized and computer enhanced.
• Video Gallery: YouTube videos of the latest Cessna 190/195 postings.
• Wallpaper: Selected photos to use as computer and cell phone wallpaper.

• Historical newsletters are now single PDF files, rather than two-year aggregations speeding download and search.
• Maintenance and Operational documents have been better organized to make them more accessible.
• A Disclaimer Statement now precedes many documents advising that the information therein may be incomplete or inaccurate.

• Cleaning and dusting mostly, no major new features.

• New members may now join on-line and gain immediate access to the Members-only sections. On-line credit card payments will be available shortly.
• A Suggestion Form makes reporting bugs, suggesting enhancements and rating the website fast and easy.

• A site-wide custom Google search — located at the bottom of every page — makes finding people, aircraft or anything else much easier. NOTE: This function won't be fully functional for several weeks until Google has completed its "indexing" of our website.

• Credit card payment for new members, fly-in registrations and other services.
• A Wiki-based Maintenance and Operation "Encyclopedia" housing our collective knowledge on these topics.
• A Fly-in Administration page for managing attendees, payments, events, etc.
• Optional member photo adjacent to your Hangar Talk comments.
• Re-scanned old newsletters to improve image quality and readability.
