Mike and Charmian Larson's 2009 Summer Vacation

On June 16 Charmian and Mike left Houston for Denver, Colorado. This was the first leg of their annual Cessna 195 vacation and eventual arrival at Oshkosh 2009. Please enjoy this documentary of their travels.

It was late in 1998 and things were going pretty well at the Larson household. I was talking to a friend who was looking for his own airplane. Tom wanted a Bonanza but I casually made the statement that I would rather have a Cessna 195.

Occasionally life presents the opportunity to do something very special. For Ron Gruner that opportunity came in the summer of 1991 when he flew his Cessna 195 from St.John's, Newfoundland, to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
